2023 Hajj: Katsina to airlift pilgrims May 29

The Executive Director, Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Kuki, has revealed that the board has concluded all arrangements to begin the airlifting of intending pilgrims from the state on 29, May 2023.

According to the PUNCH, Kuki made this known on Tuesday in Katsina during a chat with the 2023 Hajj Stakeholders meeting held at the conference hall of the board.

Speaking on the preparation of the board to commenced the airlft as planned, the Executive Director hailed the stakeholders for their unwavering support during last year’s Hajj operation.

He also told the stakeholders that the first batch of intending pilgrims from Nasarawa state will depart Nigeria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 25, May 2023.

Also, the representatives of Max Air, Customs, immigration, police, as well as Port-health, among others, disclosed their preparedness of their respective agencies for the Hajj exercise.
