Photographs from the marital rites of Queen Mariam Ogunwusi(nee Anako), the new wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, have surfaced online.
Religion Nigeria reported that the first-class monarch unveiled his new wife on Tuesday night, about 10 months after Naomi Silekunola, the last wife of the monarch left him.
The three-year marriage with Prophetess Naomi which ended in December 2021 produced a son, Tadenikawo, who celebrated his first birthday in November 2021 before Naomi left the monarch.
However, his marriage to Queen Mariam who is from the Ebira ethnic group in Kogi State is the Ooni’s fourth official marriage.
