Why Nigeria is what it is today – Oyo Cleric

The Senior Pastor of Word Alive Ministries, Ibadan, Oyo State, Alex Adegboye, has explained why Nigeria is what it is today, noting that it was because Nigerians violate laws with impunity the country was plagued with crisis.

Adegoye made this disclosure while speaking in Ibadan in preparation for the Ministry popularly known as ‘Stone Church’ 30th Anniversary.

Adegboye who reasoned that Nigeria is created by God for a purpose, urged the citizens to retrace their steps back to God in order to encounter victory over the challenges that plagued the nation.

He called on Nigerians to do things that please God, they can then be sure of God’s kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy will come to the land soon.

The cleric expressed optimism that God will intervene in the challenges of Nigeria no matter the hardship facing the nation.

Adegboye criticized the spate of disobedience to the laws and orders, admonishing Nigerians to comply with the binding laws of the land for the well-being of the nation

Adegboye said, “Our nation is so programmed with unrighteousness, that it has become second nature for us. We break every law with impunity and that is why Nigeria is what it is today”.

Adegboye, however, entreated that the will of God will prevail and the country would submit itself to the will of God.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Convention Planning Committee, Dr. Sola Akande revealed the 2023 edition of Dunamis with the theme:”Thy Kingdom Come”.
