A Brazillian pastor, Felisberto Sampaio, and his wife, Inalda, have been reported to have died while trying to rescue their 13-year-old-son, Ian, from drowning.
According to Daily Mail, the outing with the family at Camaçari Beach in Joo Pessoa, Paraba, took a negative turn when they saw their son struggling in the sea.
In an attempt to save Ian, it was stated that the couple jumped into the sea, which unfortunately led to their death.
Ian, was, however, rescued by local fishermen and a family member, who then went back for the boy’s parents and pulled them into their boat.
Filiberto, 43, and his wife, 42, were provided CPR by paramedics before they were declared dead at the scene of the incident.
