The Redeemed Christian Church of God has donated relief packages to the victims of the Turkey earthquake.
Punch Metro reported that over 30,000 people have reportedly died and thousands more have been rendered homeless following the earthquake that shook Turkey and a part of Syria on February 3.
Popular football star Christian Atsu was among the numerous people who lost their lives in the ill-fated natural disaster.
Recall that another earthquake rocked Turkey two weeks after the first one.
Reaching out to the victims of the earthquake-torn country, RCCG, in a post through its social media platforms on Wednesday, stated, “Working in awareness of the ongoing situation in Turkey, The Redeemed Christian Church of God has sent humanitarian relief packages to Turkey, especially for the victims of the Turkey earthquake disaster.”
“We hope and pray that God heals the land and helps the people of Turkey experience a quick recovery of all they have lost.”
