Osun Muslim pilgrims' welfare board prepares for 2023 Hajj

As part of its plans to make this year’s Hajj a hitch-free one and to avoid the problems associated with the late registration exercise, the Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has advised all intending pilgrims to start their registration early.

The Administrative Secretary to the Board, Mr Bolaji Sanni, who made this call during a meeting for 2023 Hajj activities in his office, revealed that all necessary arrangements to smooth the Hajj exercise have been put in place, both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

He reminded all the intending pilgrims to make available, all the necessary documentation needed for the Hajj as well as the first initial payment of three million naira, on or before March 31, to make the processing easy.

Sanni revealed further that, the board has registered about 1,000 intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.

However, the Hajj managers present at the meeting; Head of operations Alhaji Kola Sangodipe, Accountant of the board, Alhaji Wale Adegbite and other staff expressed their appreciation for the wonderful performances of the board, pledged their support for the board and prayed for a successful 2023 Hajji operations
