Muslim teen wins Microsoft competition in Nigeria

A Muslim teenage student of City of Knowledge Academy, Aliyah Adunola has emerged as one of the National winners of the Microsoft Office Specialist competition in Nigeria.

Adunola and Divine Ihonde are among those who qualified to represent Nigeria in the United State of America for the world championship.

The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship is a global competition that tests students’ skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Top students are invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship.

In some countries or regions, students are required to participate in a National Championship, and the winners of that event continue on to the World Championship.

Students of CKA, Aliyah Adunola, emerged as the best in PowerPoint 2016 while Divine Ihonde emerged winner of Excel 2016, they are among those that will represent Nigeria in the international competition to commence in July in the United State of America.

Aliyah is from Osogbo, Osun State. She was awarded the opportunity to study at City Of Knowledge Academy through a scholarship from Access Bank after participating in the school entrance examination in 2016. She came through with flying colours.

She also performed well at her Cambridge International General Certificate Secondary Education.
