Mayor of Urhoboland hails ‘superb’ process after voting in Delta

The Mayor of Urhoboland and an ex-militant leader, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro, has voted in the ongoing governoship and state House of Assembly elections at his Ewu Ward 2, unit 2 in Gbaregolor, Ughelli South Local Government area of Delta State.

The mayor was said to be the supporter of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori.

While acknowledging the transparent nature of the governoship election saying the “the process is superb”, he hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission, for the functionality of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System.

He also urged Urhobo youths to shun vilonece and ensure their votes count after voting.

The former warlord expresssed optimism over the outcome of the election, saying whoever win at the polls would be congratulated by his opponents in the spirit of sportsmanship and brotherhood.
