I didn't collect money from Tinubu, says cleric

The Senior Pastor of Shekinah Global Ministries, Rev Danjuma Byang, has refuted claims that he collected financial incentives from the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to The Nation, the cleric stated this while addressing the claims that he admitted to collecting millions as ‘transport money’ from Tinubu when the Northern Pentecostal Bishops hosted him in Abuja.

The cleric stated that via a press described the news as false, while also adding that none of the Bishops collected any financial incentives from the presidential candidate.

According to him: ”For the avoidance of doubt, I did not say I regretted collecting any money from Tinubu! And I did not say anybody collected any money from Tinubu! I did not collect any such money and I didn’t see anyone collecting it.”

Byang claimed that the reports that were attributed to him were fabrications by the anti-gospel forces intended to damage his reputation and the reputation of the meeting’s organizers.
