Dare Adeboye foundation renovates Lagos school library

The Dare Adeboye Foundation has renovated and restored a New Library for Sogunle Primary School located in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.

This was disclosed on Wednesday in a statement released by Pastor Leke Adeboye, brother to the late Dare, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

According to Leke, the new library features books, furniture, and computers. The computers were a notable addition because Sogunle primary school has never had such, which led the students to visit another school for every computer period.

Leke who is the Lead Pastor of Living Seed Church (The Bridge) said, “Education is the most important thing.” Even Jesus came to educate the 12 disciples so that they could educate the rest of the world. When you educate a child, you’ve equipped them for life. You can take everything I have away from me, but you cannot take away what is inside my head.”

The headmistress of the school, Mrs. Edith Ehirim was incredibly grateful for this intervention. She commended the leadership of the church for the choice of lifesaving projects that will add more value to the learning of the children.

The Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Honourable Mojeed Alabi Balogun was represented by his Education Secretary who was grateful for this project and highlighted the role of individual support for the betterment of the community.
